Two friends.
One mountain.
Jack and Daniel met seventeen years ago in a ski season and have been lifelong friends ever since. Same mountains, same long dinners, same love of good food, the outdoors, and filling a week with more than most people fit into a month.
The building has a story of its own. James Deltry discovered it as an 1880s village post office, rebuilt it by hand and set it up as a catered chalet business. He ran it for years until his knees finally called time and he stepped back to retire. His craftsmanship is in every beam, every piece of joinery, every detail that makes the place feel like a proper mountain home rather than a rental. Daniel and Zoe ran the catered chalet for him eight years ago, cooking and hosting, and the valley got under their skin.
Last year, Jack and Daniel took the plunge and acquired the business from James, picking up where he left off. James is still close to the place and to us, and always will be. Now we run it the way we always wanted to be looked after: proper food, proper hosting, proper time in the mountains, and we want you to experience it too.
